  • Outpace by Grip is a standalone agentic platform that launches today in private beta. It works with any event platform, and connects to Grip Engage, Manage and Onsite for organizers who use them.
  • Its first product, Visitor Plan, is live in private beta. It builds a personal plan for each visitor on an organizer's event website.
  • Agents for exhibitor retention, exhibitor acquisition, and event planning follow in the coming weeks, all leveraging the same agentic workflow approach.

Grip, the event technology platform, today launches Outpace by Grip, an agentic platform that helps event organizers grow revenue from their events.

Organizers run their agents from one chat in the Outpace dashboard. Its first product, Visitor Plan, builds a personal plan for each visitor on an organizer's website.

Agents for exhibitor retention, exhibitor acquisition, and event planning will follow in the coming weeks. Outpace is self-serve with no upfront commitment. Organizers can join the waitlist at askoutpace.ai.

Built to beat last year

"Every organizer has a pacing report, and the job is to beat the last show's performance," said Tim Groot, CEO and Founder of Grip. "Any metric you track in that report, we want to help you outpace. Visitor Plan is the start, but what excites me is how our upcoming agents will work together. For example, what the post-event exhibitor agent learns will shape the agents that find the right exhibitors for next year's show."

Live today: Visitor Plan

Visitor Plan sits on the organizer's own event website. A visitor enters their company and job title, then Outpace plans their show: the sessions, speakers and exhibitors worth their time, each with a reason. The visitor can then register, add the plan to their calendar, email it to themselves and ask the plan for changes.

Organizers install Visitor Plan with one script tag, and Outpace reads the agenda, speakers and exhibitors from the website. Every registration link carries UTM tags, so the organizer's analytics can trace registrations back to plans. Organizers can also put an offer on the plans of the job titles they most want at their show.

For shows that run on Grip, Visitor Plan also draws on data from past editions in Grip Engage and Grip Manage. Plans get sharper, and they can show visitors the companies attending alongside the sessions, speakers, and exhibitors. Next, a visitor's plan will pre-fill registration in Grip Manage and carry into Grip Engage, so visitors arrive with their day already planned.

Coming next: agents for exhibitors and planning

Grip's data shows engaged exhibitors are nearly three times more likely to return. Outpace's next agents will therefore help organizers retain and grow their exhibitor revenue.

Outpace's next set of agents will solve various problems for organizers. Examples include:

  • Exhibitor retention. After the show, an agent will give each exhibitor a clear view of the people they met and the leads they collected, with steps to collect more at the next edition. The organizer's team reviews every report before it goes out.
  • Exhibitor acquisition. Inbound and outbound agents will use what the retention agent learns to find and help organizers win the right exhibitors for the next edition.

"Events are a retention business," said Groot. "If you can win the right exhibitors and keep more than 80% of them year on year, growing an event gets easier. We've analyzed more than half a million exhibitors at thousands of events. Ten years of building Grip gives us the data to turn that insight into agents that grow revenue."
